Ringworm Information
Fungus outbreaks including
ringworm are a serious problem. Ringworm can be devastating to the
haircoat of your animal. It can ruin months of hard work. Even worse, if
one animal comes down with, other animals will likely contract it. With
the proper procedures, you can heal outbreaks, or better yet, prevent the
outbreak of ringworm.
To heal
ringworm use Sullivan’s Fungus Fighter. Simply apply liquid Fungus Fighter
directly to the ringworm area twice a day for five days. After five days,
the ringworm will be dead. After that, be sure to use Revive to moisturize
the area
to encourage the slow process of hair re-growth.
For the
prevention of ringworm, lightly mist entire animal once, along with the
stall area with Fungus Fighter. To aid in the prevention of ringworm;
Periodically shampoo with Sullivan’s Anti-Fungus Shampoo. It works
especially well if you have been in contact with an animal that was a
ringworm carrier. Another method of prevention is to use Sullivan’s
Anti-Fungus Equipment Dip. Spray this product on grooming combs, clipper
blades, halters, and anything that comes in contact with other animals.
Animals do not have to come in contact with each other to spread ringworm.
It is often spread to other animals through items that come in contact
with each other. |
